This strip introduces Black Rainbow’s resident grim reaper, Finis. He is an argyle sweater wearing and art rock playing chap who facilitates the dying to their afterlife through his soaring guitar riffs.
I found this strip to be quite challenging to produce. Although pencilling was quite straight forward, inking the strip proved tricky. I struggled with my tools quite a bit as I seemed unable to really gain control of my right hand. It did not help that I was learning how to use a new Windsore & Newton Series 7 Sable 3 brush. Also, it took time to settle on a visual solution of depicting the afterlife inducing guitar riffs produced by Finis throughout panels 1 to 3. But I am pretty happy with what has been produced.
