This character shows up in a number of strips. Yet I have no name for him. He spilled out of my head while trying to design a character based on my heavy set, autistic, and mentally challenged patients. I am unsure if that will remain as his background story. But judging from his actions thus far, one can safely assume he is mentally challenged. With that said, let’s call this ephemeral dreamer Joey from now on.
The strip is based on a similar real life event where I ran into a parked jeep on my bike with my eyes closed while transforming Jetfire from robot to jet form. Fortunately, my head did not go through a window. Unlike Joey, I learned my lesson of keeping eyes wide open while riding anything at high velocities.
