This is a personal piece that I put together conceptually in Vancouver to help cope with the sudden loss of a close friend last September in 2008. The first panel was challenging because unlike Christian depcitions of heaven, pictures of Muslim heaven/paradise are very limited through Google Images. Reference for panel one was extracted from folk art depicting Prophet Muhammad’s ascension to Paradise guided by angels.
